What is everyone doing about the lower eyelet pain on the Hoka Mafate Speed 2 shoes. A reviewer warned about the problem, and it certainly popped up while wearing mine for the first day today. Thanks for the advice.

Sorry to hear that your Mafates are causing you pain! Have you tried re-lacing the shoes starting at the second-to-lowest eyelet? Though this will cause more width in the toebox, you wouldn't have the tension from the lace going through the eyelet, which I hope would relieve some of the pain.
