@Diesseldorf did a good job answering your question about ski boot flex over on the snowsports board so we'll respond to your question about getting your boots molded. Most of our ski shops have put their ski tuning equipment away for the season. As such you'll need to check in with your local REI store to see what equipment they have available at this time. You could also ask them what the general time is that they get their ski equipment back out and in service (this can vary by location, ski season, and weather). Another option is to schedule a virtual outfitting appointment to speak with one of our expert ski boot fitters. They can talk you through boot fitting, your skiing style, and some tips on how to help break in your new boots.
Hopefully this helps, thanks!
