Received an email today for the REI credit card. It says if I make a “qualifying purchase” within 60 days, I’ll receive a $100 gift card...Anybody know what a “qualifying” purchase is?
Thank you
@BlueRidge Thanks for the question!
A 'qualifying purchase' for the REI World Elite MasterCard is any purchase made with the card. It does not include balance transfers, fees, etc. It is listed way at the bottom of the application site:
To receive this one-time REI gift card, you must apply for an REI Co-op World Elite Mastercard and, if approved, make a qualifying purchase with your new REI Co-op World Elite Mastercard within 60 days of account opening. Purchase requirement is met by purchases only; advances, convenience checks, balance transfers, interest charges, fees, credit insurance charges, or transactions to fund certain prepaid card products are not eligible.
Hopefully this helps!
