Used Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 tent - returnable?

Is the Used Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 tent I just purchased returnable?

Thank you for reaching out.

If you purchased your tent from our Used Gear Site you have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. You can read more details about that under the 'Warranty & Returns' section of the Used Gear FAQs. There you will find a link to the User Gear Returns Portal, which is how you will initiate your return.

If you purchased your tent from one of our in-store Used Gear sales (garage sales), then that sale is final. If you have questions about this you can reach out to your local REI store where you made your purchase.

Hopefully this helps, thanks!

A Mountain Hardwear Trango 2, is a tent I've had my eye on for a great while.  Maybe you can spare some time to write your thoughts on the tents advantages and at what sacrifices?

REI, please use Garage Sale is Final and Used Gear Online Sales carries a 30 day guarantee.  The thing is that I've been confused about the difference between tier consumer sales and it never gets better, I mean that with a lot of love but evident frustration.  I shop at REI because I need gear. To. Go.  Please, make your signage way better.  Thank you!  Love to shop gear at REI.  Dolly Garcia

Hi @RainbowSpringsFL - Thanks for reaching out, though we're sorry you're frustrated with the signage and wording for Garage Sale and Used Gear return policies. We have taken note of your suggestions and are happy to hear you enjoy shopping at REI so much. If things are still not clear between the two, please let us know and we will help clarify.

We would be happy to share some notes on the Mountain Hardware Trango 2. This tent was designed for alpine mountaineering expeditions and is known for being easy to both assemble and pack away. It can be used in non-mountaineering instances as well. Both dry and spacious, it can provide a comfortable place to stay when you are waiting out rough weather. There are also many organization and storage options within the tent, including pockets to sort different types of gear.

With all of the impressive features of the Trango 2, it is also a bit heavier than other tents in its category, which is one reason why some people choose to go with another product. These decisions are dependent on what you are looking for and what sort of trip you are planning to use it on. If you want to share a bit more about your upcoming plans, we would be happy to give our specific tent suggestions.

Hopefully this helps and thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback with us!
