I just bought a new pair of Lowa Renegade hiking boots along with a pair of Trailblazer Comfort Insoles. Is the intention that I remove the original insole and replace with the new ones or should I put the new ones on top of the original ones?

Any after market footbed will replace the footbed that came with the boot. The existing footbed should come out pretty easily. You can lay the existing footbed over the replacement one and make sure the shape is similar. That will help you determine if you need to make any adjustments or trim any parts of the after market footbed. Thanks for reaching out and happy hiking!
