TC Pros for women?

Hi there. Wondering if TC Pros are designed as a unisex shoe. They're marketed that way on some sites but someone at Nomad in Joshua Tree said the shoe is uncomfortable in the heel for ladies.

The La Sportiva TC Pros are designed as a unisex shoe. REI carries them in a size range from a 36 to a 46, which is a Women's size 5 to a Men's size 12. On their website, La Sportiva even makes them down to a size 34, which is a Kid's size 3! Whether the heel fits you would be best determined by trying the shoe on, as that level of fit detail will vary by person, not necessarily gender.
