Tarp camping - can we add a group? carry more tarps in stores?

I am a Tarp camper and was wondering why there are no groups setup for that activity? I've not used a tent in ages, love a tarp. But as I said, there's no groups. While on the subject why don't your stores carry more QUALITY tarp's? What I've seen are not much better than I can purchase at my local hardware and I wouldn't buy one of them.
Not angry, just curious as it's a fairly large outdoor activity yet your company doesn't carry much. HELP? LOL

Hi @Tim_DeBoer - Thanks for reaching out and sharing this feedback with us! One of the things we're most excited about here in Conversations is the chance to hear directly from our members about topics that are important to them.

Within this digital community we do not have a Tarp Camping group because the subject fits within the larger Camping category. With that, you did the perfect thing by starting a thread on the subject on the camping board! We are hopeful others here will weigh in with their suggestions and experiences. You may be interested in sharing your suggestions on the existing thread titled Rigging an REI Tarp too.

With your suggestion, we have also added a Tarp Camping label option to our Camping category. Going forward, when someone posts on the subject they can add that tag to their post. This will allow posts on the topic to be grouped together (viewed by selecting the Tarp Camping label on a post). Your recent post, Does anyone here do tarp camping?, has that tag added now as well. Thanks so much for passing this idea along. Hopefully you will be able to connect with others, share your expertise, and learn new tips too!

We're also sorry to hear that none of the tarps we carry are what you are looking for. Do you have any brands or models you would like us to pass along as suggestions for our buying team?

Thanks again for sharing this feedback with us. Hopefully this helps!

Firstly THANK YOU for getting back with me!
Secondly - OMG there are so many kinds of tarps to carry. Off the top of my head there is the DD Tarp. It's very highly rated and really decently priced.

There's also Aqua Quest. Yet another fantastic camping tarp. A very solid beast.

I'd be remiss if I didn't include my absolute favorite. However he does not sell wholesale but it's still a killer of a tarp.

There are many more out there, MANY MORE!!! But of what I've delt with these are hands down the best ones.

Hi @Tim_DeBoer - You're welcome! It's great to see members with enthusiasm for their favorite outdoor setups. We now know that if anyone comes to the community with questions about tarp camping, you are the person to tag to share your know-how on the subject!

We are going to pass your above recommendations for tarps along to our buying team for future consideration. Thanks for sharing them with us!
