I happen to own the Lookout 40 and it's a great pack! I'm 6' tall and wear a size large as I have a pretty long torso. The medium Lookout 40 fits a torso length of 17-19 inches with a waist of 28-44 inches and the large fits a torso of 18-20 inches with a waist of 30-46 inches.
