REI Tent Repair

I have an REI Quarter Dome T2 Plus, which my wife and I like a lot.  It's 5-8 years old.  However all of the seam sealing tape on the fly isnow falling off.  This includes the hook and loop closures to connect to the poles.  Is there any way of getting this repaired?

Thanks, JFKerler

@JiminWis thanks for reaching out! A few suggestions for the seam sealing tape on your T2:

  • You might read through this post - there are some good suggestions from @REI-JohnJ around tent care/repair
  • Here are some options for resealing the seams on your tent
  • Finally, here are some articles that specifically address tent care/repair

Hope this helps!

At REI, we believe time outside is fundamental to a life well lived.

Thanks very much.  This sounds like my ticket:  I'll focus on the inside fly seams for now.

I have the same tent and about the same vintage...SURPRISE...same issues as well.  I used the product you discovered below on my tent floor corners and will be doing the same for the loops on the rainfly.  However, this is becoming end of life at this point and will likely be relegated to by backup tent.
