Question about the timeline on REI's Return Policy.
I’m wondering if REI ever accepts returns/provides exchanges that are a tad later than a year. I bought boots recently from a brand I’ve always trusted, but they’re falling apart (plastic sole separated from fabric shoe, holes in the fabric) after just over a year of light/moderate use, which is really disheartening.

Because it is challenging to get a clear idea of the issue with your boots in a forum setting like this, your best bet is to take your boots to your local REI store and speak with a customer service specialist about the problem.
