Is there a way to put a profile photo in place of the crossed ice axes logo that appears alongside user identification?

@Gary you bet! Check out our FAQs which will provide the steps to follow for changing your avatar (you do this in My Settings)! All images uploaded to the community go through moderation before they become available for use, so there could be a short delay while we review images.
