About a year ago I went rei in beachwood Ohio. Tried a pair of ultra 110 that I liked and they corrected my plantar faciatus within a month . They had a wear spot at the toe pivot so I traded them in on la Sportiva which I didn’t like. Currently I have a pair of north face fastpack 3. They are good but not as supportive as the ultra 110. my question is- how do the Salomon ultra 3 gtx compare to the north face ultra 110. I’d go 110 if there were more color options. thank you

To start, I think you'll find the Salomon Ultra 3 GTX to be very comparable to the North Face Ultra 110, particularly in terms of support compared to your current Fastpack 3's. Having owned both the Ultra 110s and the Ultra 3's, I would say it would come down to trying them on to compare fit. Given that you have dealt with some plantar fasciitis in the past, you've worn out a pair of 110s at the toe pivot point, and you're concerned about support, I would highly recommend scheduling some time with a footwear specialist at your local REI through our Outfitting Scheduler. That way you can have a trained footwear specialist look at your foot and talk you through all your options in terms of fit, but also the potential for an aftermarket footbed to make sure you have the support you need.
Thank you for your question, I hope this helps!
