Unfortunately REI does not carry a mountain bike shoe that comes in a wide nor do the brands we carry produce one. Our Five Ten shoes tend to offer more room in the toe box so that might be a good first step. I know that I typically wear a wide shoe for comfort (technically I do not measure as a wide, but I just appreciate the comfort a wide shoe provides) and the Five Ten shoes fit me well. I checked with a couple different other REI employees and the only brand we could find that made a mountain bike shoe in a wide was a company called Gaerne and the model was the G Laser Wide.
