Ideal Tire Pressure for CTY 1.1

Hello, I bought a Co-op Cycles CTY 1.1 Step-Through Bike in your store which has the Kenda K-1024 with protective shield and reflective sidewall, 700 x 40 tires with 700c wheel size.

The rear tire is very flat, what should be the ideal tire pressure for the rear & the front tires?

Hi @Gayatri - Thanks for reaching out, though we're sorry it's because your rear tire is flat.

The recommended tire pressure range for the Kenda K-1024 tires is 50-85psi. The pressure you choose to inflate to within those values is based on the terrain you will be riding on and personal preference. With the wheel set you have, we suggest the following:

  • consistently riding on smooth paved roads - 75-85 psi
  • riding on rougher or uneven roads -  50-75 psi (the lower tire pressure should help smooth out some of the roads bumps)
