How to submit a product to be reviewed by REI for possible resale through its network ?

Dear Representatives,

The main activity of REI is to resale products accrued from various manufacturers.

It would be useful to know the email and the address for classical mail, of the department that receives samples for evaluation, to consider their possible acquisition in order to be sold by REI.

It is obvious that REI deals with many small companies that design and produce hiking and camping products, and chances are that these small companies were the ones who first contacted REI, and not vice-versa.

Post COVID-19, this answer is not accurate. While we completely understand putting the current program on hold, as things move forward, how can we reach out to REI to sell a (wonderful) product?

While we work on next steps for the Innovator Series, you can email innovator@rei.com with information about the product you are interested in having REI carry. Please include your name and contact information, the product name and company website, and reasons why you love the product. Although we do review all suggestions, we aren't able to respond to all. Thanks for thinking of the co-op as a place for your product!

Is there an updated answer here? The email is no longer manned and the program paused. We're eager to connect with a buyer about our camping/backpacking product line that is doing well on shelves here in the PNW.

We have been watching the 'innovator series' page since last spring, but to no avail. We would love to take part in a sample submission process if there is one seeing that other new products have come online.

At this time, we are still on 'pause' with the Innovator Series. We are hoping to have more information soon on the updates to the program for 2021. Your best bet is to continue to keep your eye on the REI Innovator page as we continue to move forward.
