I bought my first pair of Hoka shoes recently.  Since wearing them I am having pain by my pinky toes.  Is this common?  Should I try a different shoe?  Thank you

Thanks for the question @Melonrea13!  Pain in your pinky toes (or other toes) is only common while wearing running shoes that do not fit correctly. I used to wear Hoka’s until my pinky toes began going completely numb when I ran, which made me realize that they were too narrow for my feet. I switched to the Altra Lone Peak and have been running without numbness ever since. I would suggest heading into your local REI and speaking to one of our footwear specialists. They will be able to set you up with something that fits correctly and will keep your littlest piggy cozy and pain free.
