Exchange w/o Receipt or Packaging

Received a pair of Sorrel Caribou boots as a gift. Boots are too large. I tried to make them work with extra socks but the are still oversized. Can I exchange them without a receipt or packaging?

I'm sorry your boots aren't quite working out for you! A proof of purchase when doing a return/exchange makes everything so much smoother, if the person who gave you the boots still has the receipt or is a member (we can look up purchase history) that would be the best case scenario for processing an exchange. Otherwise you will need to go in to your local REI store and speak with a manager or call our customer service team at 1-800-426-4840.
