Cross Country Ski binding

Someone gave me old cross country skies and I'm trying to figure out

what type of ski binding they have. Please look at the attached picture and let

me know what type of binding it is and what type of boots I will need.

Thank you.

Shlomoo Hey Alex,

It's a little tough to be 100% certain from the picture, but that looks like one of the first generation SNSS Salomon XCC bindings. Unfortunately, those are not compatible with modern boot standards.

If you would like to still use the skis you may be able to mount new bindings to them.  I would recommend bringing them into your local REI Ski Shop and have them verify they're a good size for you, and look at what boot & binding combination may work best for your needs.  Pick the boot that fits best, and an appropriate binding to go along with it.

Best of luck!
