Can I use my dividend to buy Merrell Shoes?

I am interested in buying a pair of Merrell Gridway Sneakers.  When I went to check out online, I found I was on a webpage belonging to Merrell, not REI, and there was no option of using my dividend.  So is that really the case--I can't use my dividend even though I am shopping on the REI website?
