Air Pump vs. C02 Cartridges

What kind of air pump or CO2 cartridge do you recommend for two brand new mountain bikes (see brands below) that have never been ridden that have gone flat during the Winter?

Here are a couple of options for floor pumps that should work well for you:

In terms of a CO2 Cartridge pump, those make for great options for on the trail for re-inflating after a repair or adding air if you're adjusting on the go (as with a fat bike in the snow, for example). They're small and pack away nicely on your bike or in a cycling jersey. For topping off tires that have gone flat in the off-season or just general maintenance, a floor pump is the way to go.
