In terms of a CO2 Cartridge pump, those make for great options for on the trail for re-inflating after a repair or adding air if you're adjusting on the go (as with a fat bike in the snow, for example). They're small and pack away nicely on your bike or in a cycling jersey. For topping off tires that have gone flat in the off-season or just general maintenance, a floor pump is the way to go.
