The North Face and REI have joined forces to launch REWIND NATURE<\/a>, a series that springs from our desire to roll back time\u2014to when the Earth was cleaner, cooler and wilder. Inspired by the Eco Heritage Collection, the series produced in partnership with <\/span><\/i>National Geographic<\/span><\/i><\/a> spotlights changemakers who are taking a step forward to reverse the damage we\u2019ve caused to our planet, and brings to light actionable ways to make small changes that have a big impact.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

When\u00a0author and podcast host Kam\u00e9a Chayne realized that retail therapy left her feeling more empty than before, she began to recalibrate her sense of what it meant to live a good life, and she realized how strongly our lives are affected by our day-to-day consumption choices. This led Kam\u00e9a to start the Green Dreamer podcast, in which she helps dispel eco-anxiety through interviews with pioneers and thought leaders in sustainability and regeneration. On the podcast as well as in Thrive, her book on sustainability, Kam\u00e9a explores the practical and impactful steps we can each take to contend with the massive issues threatening our environment.<\/p>\n
