What do the mountains mean to you?<\/p>\n
\u201cMountains have become synonymous with my life, ever since I impulsively decided to climb the Seven Summits ten years ago. Since then, they have inspired me, sustained me, and challenged me. To those that I’ve met along the way, whether fellow travelers or those that live among the majestic peaks, thank you. May we continue to appreciate and celebrate their natural wonder.\u201d \u00a0–\u00a0<\/em>Instagram\u2019s @powerful_human<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n The mountains are a hostile place; yet like a siren, they beckon the adventurous and wild hearted to their slopes. The power and magnificence is often what keeps us coming back again and again.<\/p>\n Last week was International Mountain Day and to celebrate, we asked our Instagram community to post photos of their favorite mountains and alpine adventures.
