For the second year, REI Co-op has teamed up with the crew behind\u00a0The Moth<\/a>\u00a0to bring live storytelling events about the outdoors to local communities. The Moth began in 1997\u00a0as\u00a0a way to\u00a0promote the art and craft of storytelling and since then has presented\u00a0thousands of stories, told live, through\u00a0Mainstage,\u00a0StorySLAM\u00a0and\u00a0GrandSLAM\u00a0events.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By embedding the outdoors, nature and adventure into the nightly theme for select Moth events, the co-op is helping the outdoor community tell their stories of a life well lived.\u00a0These events invite a new generation of the outdoor curious \u2013 and the outdoor enthusiast \u2013 to meet and learn about the co-op and share powerful stories of the importance of the outdoors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

REI hosts onsite activities to surprise and delight a new audience and say thank you to local members. Check out upcoming co-op sponsored Moth events in Chicago (July 10)\u00a0and Atlanta (July 23).\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
