Dear co-op community,<\/p>\n

There\u2019s something special about a new year that brings a sense of hope, possibility and excitement. At REI, this is the time when we start dreaming and scheming about the new adventures that lie ahead\u2014like tackling a bucket-list trail, learning to paddle for the first time or enjoying a fire in the backyard with the people we love.<\/p>\n

As a co-op,\u00a0our members and employees\u00a0are united by our shared love of the outdoors and the simple joy\u00a0that time outside brings to our day-to-day lives.\u00a0While many of us turn to the outdoors for similar reasons\u2014to reset, restore and connect to one another\u2014we know that time outside looks different for everyone.<\/p>\n

No matter what your outdoor adventures look like this year, no matter how far out or close to home you\u2019re looking to go, we\u2019re here to keep you inspired and equipped to get out there.\u00a0Maybe you\u2019re\u00a0already making summer camping reservations and\u00a0need to\u00a0trade\u00a0in\u00a0your tent<\/a>\u00a0for something bigger.\u00a0Maybe this is the year you finally get into\u00a0running\u00a0and\u00a0you\u00a0need\u00a0one of our experts\u00a0to\u00a0help you\u00a0get\u00a0ready.\u00a0Maybe you need to pick up\u00a0a last-minute\u00a0snowshoe or mountain bike rental<\/a> on your way to the trailhead. Or maybe you just need some kitchen inspiration like this great backcountry chili recipe<\/a>.\u00a0No matter how routine or epic, how planned or spontaneous, how new or familiar,\u00a0we want\u00a0to help you spend more time outside doing the things\u00a0you\u00a0love.<\/p>\n
