Most local mountain bikers know of Fountainhead Regional Park, which offers some great opportunities for off-road cycling. However, over the years, the trails at Fountainhead have become increasingly less sustainable and harder to maintain. Many of the trails are washed out and severely eroded. While this can provide a challenging ride to some users, it can be detrimental to the environment and to the long term sustainability of the trail.
