GPS
REI GPS gurus focus on high-tech wilderness navigation to enhance your experience and get you outside. Please bring your hand-held Global Positioning System receiver to the class and learn to navigate with confidence. Topics for this hands-on course include: following tracks, setting and locating waypoints. $15 for REI members, $25 for non-members.


Map and Compass
Map & Compass navigation is essential for backcountry exploration. This hands-on course will have you navigating with ease. Gain confidence using your map and compass together. If you have one, bring your own compass. $15 for REI members, $25 for non-members.


Kids' Rock Climbing
This beginner's course gives you a basic understanding for indoor, artificial wall climbing. Topics include: equipment, basic commands and lots of climbing. Class is open to youth between the ages of 6 - 12 of all ability levels. $15 for REI members, $25 for non-members.


Wonders of Walking
If you are looking for someone to walk with, enjoy exploring, and want to improve your fitness and have fun join the WOW Walk Club at REI every Saturday morning at 9am. Annual dues are $60 for REI members, $75 for non-members. Register at www.wondersofwalking.com

Mazamas Street Rambles
Two hour walks into the hills of NW Portland leave from REI every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. Walks are $2 for everyone.
