REI Community Room Rental Information

Ongoing

Thank you for your interest in using the community room facilities at the Denver Flagship and Englewood stores.

Purpose:
The primary function of the community room facilities is to provide educational programs to our members and customers in the areas of paddling, winter sports, cycling, camping, and climbing. The secondary purpose is to provide meeting and event space to non-profit outdoor groups working to enhance outdoors recreational opportunities or protect the outdoors for recreation. We will also rent out our facilities to peripheral groups seeking a unique place to hold meetings or events.

Due to increased demand for meeting space, REI is unable to host regularly scheduled meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) for organizations. Portions of the funds collected for room rentals will be used to facilitate further outdoor programming.

Rates:
The room rates are based on the purpose of the organization or event. Fees are listed below.

All areas must be cleaned up and all equipment must be removed by the caterer and/or group prior to leaving. Failure to do so will result in a $100 clean-up charge. Rest rooms shall not be used for catering clean up.

REI-Sponsored Events:
Often outdoor groups and organizations will contact REI about providing classes and programs for our customers and members. Groups may also be interested in fundraising or recognition events. This aligns with our purpose of providing educational programs, protecting the outdoors for recreation, and enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities. It is also a powerful promotional tool for organizations seeking community outreach.

In exchange for providing a speaker or presentation, REI will normally offer free use of the facilities to the group. In general, organizations wishing to provide this type of programming should contact the Outreach/Events staff at DenverReservation@rei.com. Staff may be also be reached by phone at (303) 756-3100.

Alcohol:
We do not allow alcohol to be served or consumed in our community rooms.

Accessibility:
REI is a fully-accessible facility with elevator access to our community rooms. If you or any of your attendees require special attention, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate them.
