REI?s PEAK Program: Teaching Kids About the Outdoors:
Here?s a free opportunity to teach your students how to enjoy, and care for, the outdoors. It?s REI?s PEAK Program?Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids. At your request, REI will send its staff to your classroom (or center) to give a hands-on, interactive program on camping and Leave No Trace principles. The program can be geared to most age groups. Make sure your students learn how to have fun outside in an environmentally responsible way. Call your local REI store to schedule a PEAK presentation.
