This exciting program combines hands-on stewardship, hiking, paddling, environmental education and leadership in a wilderness environment. Students also participate in pre and post outdoor community service field trips. North Cascades Wild has proven to produce remarkable changes in attitude, awareness and conservation ethics in the youth who participate. REI funding will provide support for project coordination and program leaders.
