Camp Fire USA Balcones Council's Kids Unplugged Program

The Balcones Council of Camp Fire USA, which serves families in 10 central Texas counties, recently kicked off Kids Unplugged. With the mission of providing children and their families opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and explore nature, Kids Unplugged is based on principles of the national movement, ?Leave No Child Inside.?

Kids Unplugged provides program participants with pre-arranged recreational outdoor activity options to allow families to experience nature together. Planned by Camp Fire coordinators, outings are scheduled for each weekend starting now through August 2010 and include low cost equipment rental and qualified instructors to lead each activity.
