Turn outdoor education into fun and games!
Would you like a representative from REI to teach your scout troop, school group, or nature club about the Leave No Trace principles and minimum impact techniques for the outdoors?
PEAK stands for Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids, and it is a free program taught by REI staff. Through hands-on, interactive activities children are taught to have fun outside while keeping their impact to a minimum.
PEAK programs can be modified for most school-age levels. For more info about the PEAK program or to schedule a presentation* at REI, please contact the Outreach Specialist at the nearest store to you:

*Please provide a minimum of 3 weeks notice for scheduling an in-store presentation.
*Group size minimum: 12 students
*PEAK programs are typically hosted at the REI store; however, we are able to accommodate a few off-site programs each year. Contact the local Outreach Specialist to discuss your event needs.
*If we cannot make it to your event, then we'd be happy to direct you to relevant teaching resources at www.lnt.org.
