Meet Skip Yowell-Mountaineer, World Traveler, and Co-founder of JanSport:

10 am-4 pm, Saturday, December 5 at REI Berkeley

Here's a great opportunity to meet the legendary co-founder of JanSport, Skip Yowell, and make a donation to a worthy cause. Author of The Hippie Guide to Climbing The Corporate Ladder & Other Mountains, Skip will be road-trippin' to REI Berkeley in his 1967 VW bus, to give away free copies of his book to anyone who brings in a donation of an old JanSport pack, food, or toys.

Donated packs will be given to Big City Mountaineers, the country's leading nonprofit organization devoted to mentoring urban teens on wilderness trips. Don't miss this chance to make a donation benefitting kids, share tales of outdoor adventure with one of the outdoor industry's most beloved icons, and take home your free book signed by Skip!
