Remember the fun you had as a child, when you got your first bike and started discovering the world beyond your front door? Thanks to Turning Wheels for Kids (TWFK), children who've never experienced this kind of outdoor play, can benefit from this rite of passage.
Each year, TWFK buys, builds, and distributes more than 2,000 bikes to health-challenged or low-income children. Throughout the year, TWFK also offers bike riding, safety, and repair programs in local neighborhoods to ensure that kids, who've received bikes, get the help they need to ride safely and make simple repairs.
Don't miss a great opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way this holiday season! Join more than 500 volunteers on Saturday, December 12 for TWFK's Annual Bike-Build. You'll need to bring basic bike tools. Ages 12 and older are welcome to participate.
