Chase the Moon: Bike Ride

A moonlit, pedal-powered view of the seldom-accessible grounds of Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, better known as Fermilab, will be showcased at the annual Chase the Moon Midnight Bike Ride presented by The Conservation Foundation. The event will be held on limited-access Fermilab roads in Batavia and Aurora on the evening of July 26 and into the wee hours of July 27.

Rolling on the River features a choice of one-day rides from casual cruise (15 mile) to intense workout (100 miles). Our fully-supported, clearly marked routes cross the scenic Fox River multiple times. Enjoy riding on safe, paved, light traffic roads with scenic vistas, rolling hills, river crossings and wildlife.

After the ride, relax and celebrate with us. We?ll treat you to a hearty meal, music, roundtable talks on environmental topics, enviro expo and other family-friendly outdoor activities.
