I spotted this rolling bit of awesomeness at the REI Seattle flagship store the other day. RV? Sport-utility vehicle? Bikevan? Winnebikeo? What would you call this?
We spent a couple minutes marveling at the resourcefulness/creativity of the setup. Then we started spotting things… things like a fly rod, wok, 5 gallon bucket, chair, multiple pairs of sunglasses, hats, rims, tires, insulated containers, aero-bars-turned-rack, mini Fedora, etc. The soft-ride stem was pretty sweet, too. It’s a rolling masterpiece.
Bravo to the owner, whoever you are (and wherever you’re headed). You’ve got a seriously rad bike. Have a good 'un, indeed!

Looks like this person is also a gold panner. The first thing I noticed (aside from the pure awesomeness or the rig), was the brass colored gold pan and filter/classifier at the side of the rear tire area.
Y'know, at first glance I thought it was a gold pan too, though later decided it was a wok with its base... but I could certainly be wrong! If it is a gold pan... even better!
Cant tell from the pics - is it an xtracycle free radical under there?
It looked like an xtracycle, though we didn't look all that hard (too much other stuff catching our attention).
Man oh man. SO GOOD. Check out that spare wheel on the back too. The gold pan just wins it though.

That's not a 'mini fedora' hanging off the handle bars... that's a mini black cowboy hat. That saddle looks pretty comfy, too, except for the tacks...
Right you are, marlana80! Thanks for the correction; I fully admit my hat knowledge is minimal. And the saddle looked mighty comfy and worn, for sure... many, many miles.
That is an Xtracycle under there. Amazing steed. Wow.

YES!!!!! That's definitely the bike, albeit a bit trimmer. This pic was taken in TN? Is there more info on the rider by any chance?
Not the same Tim K., but maybe this is the same guy? This was in South Lake Union almost exactly 3 years ago. Different front half of the xtracycle (the one I saw was an e-bike), but the the rider looks similar, the packing style is a match (I think one of the day packs is close), and we're lookin' and the same Brooks saddle.
Could there really be two of these guys?
