An exhibit in one forested Seattle park says, “Heck yeah.” Nature has always been a subject of art, from ancient cave drawings to Monet’s lily pads. But what about art placed in nature? Increasingly these two powerful forces are coming together with stunning and/or thought-provoking results. The current exhibit “Heaven and Earth” at Seattle’s Carkeek Park exemplifies this phenomenon.
