Standard Boat Shipping and REI Store Pickup Information

Boat prices do not include shipping fees. Boats can be shipped to most addresses in the contiguous USA for the rates listed in the chart below, which are in addition to standard shipping fees. To avoid these fees, consider shipping your boat for FREE via REI Store Pickup to the REI store of your choice.

Hard-Shell Boat Shipping Limitations:

Please note: Hard-shell kayaks, canoes or stand up paddleboards cannot be shipped to APO, FPO, U.S. Territories, international destinations and Hawaii, and are only available for in-store pickup in Alaska. Please note:

• Allow up to two weeks for delivery
• A street address is required (no PO boxes please)
• Sorry, REI does not mount kayak footpegs

The shipping limitations above do not apply to inflatable or folding kayaks.

When Your Hard-Shell Boat Arrives:

Your freight carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time. Please inspect your boat at the time of delivery, before the truck driver leaves. Do not pay additional freight charges to the carrier, either before or after delivery.
