Comments about Oakley Oakley Wisdom Goggles:
Whatever you do with any oakley goggles, no matter what lenses, don't try to clean the inside while you are getting pounded by the weather.
They do scratch easily, but if you just let it air dry, you'll be good!
They are great for overcast weather and also stormy weather. Get the fire lenses for sunny days.

Comments about Oakley Oakley Wisdom Goggles:
The Oakley lens system, as candidly described on the Oakley.com website, is delicate. The lenses are highly prone to scratching, even when wiped with the dedicated lens bag, particularly when wet. This limitation was explicit on the Oakley website. A worse problem, one which I have experienced with two consecutive pairs of these goggles (thereby making "sampling error" an unlikely explanation for the problem), is the tendency for the inner-surface lens to "etch" when sweat (especially when mixed with any brand of sunscreen) contacts the lens. If the user attempts to wipe the sweat droplets when wet, the inner lens scratches; if you wait until it dries, optical aberrations develop. Because of the delicacy of the lens system with it's tendency to scratch and "etch", I cannot recommend these goggles.

I'm on my third pair of Wisdoms. The value and the quality is unbeatable. the comfort is unbelievable and the lens options keep me wearing them, no matter the conditions, elevations or temp.

Comments about Oakley Oakley Wisdom Goggles:
The lenses on these goggles are fantastic, crisp and clear. Many options for different light (eg cloudy, sunny, flat light, etc.). I have the amber lenses and they are a good all-around lens. Not the best for very sunny days or super flat-light conditions, but good enough. I'll be adding some hi-intensity lenses for storm days.
my only complaint is that they are made for people with large faces. it allows great peripheral vision but practically covers my nose. maybe the crowbar will fit smaller faces better.

Comments about Oakley Oakley Wisdom Goggles:
I bought the Oakley Wisdom goggles with the VR28 lens at the beginning of the 2006-2007 ski season as a replacement for my previous pair of "Scott" brand goggles to be used as my primary goggles for the Alpine Ski Racing season. I found their level of quality to be every bit as impressive as their reputation would suggest. They didn't ever fog, which was a significant issue I had with the Scott goggles I had before. They fit a little narrower on my face than I would have liked them to, but that is how most goggles fit me and is only because I have an unusually large head, so it was only to be expected. I also really liked how they allow the use of peripheral vision, which is a fault that I've noticed is pretty common among most styles of goggles, regardless of their brand.
Comments about Oakley Oakley Wisdom Goggles:
This is a great set of goggles but may have fitment issues w/ certain snowboard/ski helmets. The A-frame may offer a better fit w/ helmets.
I personally don't use the helmet strap add-on for the goggles. Stock strap works great.
It also *rarely* fogs up.
