Explore untracked terrain or go to your local Nordic center with the stable Salomon XADV 59 Grip cross-country skis. Their partial metal edges and high-performance waxless patterns offer good control.

  • Lightweight, consistent cores are made with uni-directional fiberglass wrapped around preshaped densolite foam
  • Make your way down icy slopes with added control thanks to partial steel edges located toward the front and back of the skis
  • G2 Plus waxless pattern on the bases delivers a combination of excellent grip and glide; sharp grip edges bite into snow when you kick and are smooth and quiet when you glide
  • Camber is tuned for easy compression and good grip when pressing with the forefoot; grip zone remains lifted when pressing with the mid or rear of the foot for good glide
  • Quality bases on the Salomon XADV 59 Grip cross-country skis have a low-pressure zone grind for fast glide on all types of snow

Comments about Salomon XADV 59 Grip Cross-Country Skis:

I love these skis. I've been renting all this season. I wanted comfortable boots as my first priority, so chose the Salomon Escape7's. That meant the pilot bindings which I had tried on rental and liked. To be perfectly honest I had already fallen in love with some Fischer Superlites I tried on rental, but decided they were just too expensive. I thought these skis would feel like a compromise, but after one outing I'm extremely pleased. They aren't quite as fast as the Superlites, but they turn so much better. I felt more confident with these skis than I've ever felt before. I highly recommend them.
