Comments about One Way Telescopic Cross-Country Poles - Pair:

I got about 30min of use out these poles before they broke and were rendered useless. One of the poles broke in the parking lot at the trailhead while I was adjusting the length. I jammed the pieces back together and headed out anyway because I had driven 20mi to get there and still wanted to ski. The second pole kept getting shorter when I would pushed off with it. The last time I tried to adjust it the whole locking mechanism broke and the two sections of pole separated. I had to ski back to the car without poles. The locking mechanism is held together with a flimsy plastic screw. Fortunately, REI has a good return policy and I returned them on my way home. I wouldn't rely on these poles for any trip.
