Pre-mounted and ready to ride, the Fischer Desire My Style skis are a great value for intermediate female adventurers who want to ski in and out of tracks.

  • Air channels are built into the fiberglass/wood cores to reduce weight and enable good pressure distribution when the skis are flexed
  • Wide Body Technology increases the width of the skis under the skier's feet, resulting in greater stability and grip
  • Premium Crown features less-aggressive Single Crown in the front and rear, and dual-cut Double Crown in the middle for a powerful kick with optimum glide
  • Sintec sintered bases feature a graphite composition for good glide; bases are tuned to be fast in most types of snow
  • Fischer Desire My Style skis are suitable for both in- and out-of-track skiing
  • No-hassle, pre-mounted NNN Touring Classic My Style auto cross-country bindings allow easy in and out and feature a full-length ridge plate for excellent control

Was an inexpensive start to XCountry. Glides well and lightweight. Nice looking...but the binding clip fell apart after one use. I was able to manipulate it back into place but I think I will be buying better bindings. Overall nice skis for the buck.

I wouldn't have REI personnel fit skis.

Comments about Fischer Desire My Style Cross-Country Skis with Bindings - Women's:

I had skis and poles fitted by personnel at Bloomington REI. Have been told by two separate cross country teachers (one of them from REI) that skis and poles were too short. Also, they do not glide well.

Getting back into cross country skiing after many years off. Had to borrow several different pairs throughout a girls weekend trip. Got a chance to use these and LOVED them - so easy to glide on and nice control. Felt very comfortable and enjoyed the day skiing. Loved them so much went out and bought myself the very same pair! Would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for a quality ski at a great price!

Comments about Fischer Desire My Style Cross-Country Skis with Bindings - Women's:

I was looking for an inexpensive pair of skis to get me started and these haven't disappointed me. I particularly like the ease of use of the bindings and the cost was good as part of a package. I think they're a good value for the beginner, but it's probably likely that an experienced skier might find them wanting.
