I purchased these boots several months ago and was pretty thrilled to find a pair that fit well. I have a wide, round foot that prefers the freedom of sandals most of the time. Lacing up boots or other tight fitting shoes is not always super comfy and can be painful. I tried on several pairs and decided on these because they felt good, weren't constrictive, and were on sale. I have used them on groomed classic trails and had no problems with the boot themselves. I did end up unzipping the outside cover part way and preferred it that way. But the inner, lace up layer still kept snow out and the boot was comfortable. I have used them on 1 hour and up to 4 hour tours. Glad to have them and would recommend to other women.

I've used these boots twice now. They're very comfortable and I really like the nice lining in them. They keep my feet nice and warm tho I still wear a nice pair of wool socks with them. I also thought they were an excellent price.

I ordered these boots online and used them immediately. I always wear size 38 in all my other shoes. Yet this size 38 was so small I could only fit liner socks on. By the end of the morning, the skin on both heels had rubbed completely off! I haven't tried the next size up, but be wary that these run too small.

This is a great boot. I use them 3-4 times a week for skiing in Anchorage, AK. They keep my feet warm on sub-zero days and are easy to put on. They keep my feet dry and make for a great day of skiing.

This is a very comfortable, warm, functional boot. I saw the comment regarding the laces from another reviewer. The laces are separate from the boot and thread through the eyelets as in any footwear. They can be adjusted and replaced with ease.
These boots are great and more than one friend has expressed envy and interest in getting a pair of their own.

My feet are always cold and I didn't think any boot would ever be warm enough for me to enjoy being outdoors in winter, let alone cross country skiing. This boot is great! My feet never got cold and we were out for 6 hours in 20 degree weather.

I am brand new to skiing and have come to find out that the built in boot covering is the BEST feature for a ski boot and keeps the ice and snow off the laces. (So if you are a first time buyer look for a boot with this feature as you will LOVE it!) My feet normally get cold and have NOT been cold once with these boots and they are extremely comfortable!!
The only complaint is that the laces are sewn into the boot itself and the laces are not even and can not be corrected as they are sewn in. This makes them at times difficult to tie as one end is much shorter than the other. My other concern is if one of the laces were to break you would not be able to remove the laces to replace them. I thought maybe this was a defect with the pair I received and returned the boots for a new pair. The new pair also had the same problem along with the 6 other pairs we looked at in my local REI store. My friend who also purchased the same ski package months earlier has the exact same issue with the laces being sewn in when I brought it to her attention.
Overall a great boot so far, but I'm worried about the longevity due to the lace problem.
