by fromA little narrow These felt really good in the store. My left foot is half a size bigger than my right, and I've learned I need a big toe box. These seem to have a good sized toe box out of the box, but that's with their dinky thin insoles. According to the sales clerk, manufacturers assume folks will replace the insole with their own, so they don't make anything special. Once I put my insole in them, the toe box felt a little snug, but I think the top of the toe box will stretch out a little/conform to my foot, so I'm not worried there. However, with my insole in them, they feel narrower. I wish they had a wider option to try out. It's tricky--will they stretch out on the sides, as well? I'll wear them around the house some more and see how they feel after several hours. I may take them back and discuss my options with a sales clerk.
