Rated5out of5byfromFantastic Hiking Boot!!These North Face HedgeHog GTXs have been a fantastic boot. I've owned for about 2 1/2 years, and, just this season, have climbed 18 fourteeners in Colorado with them, as well as trails in Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Arches. I will be wearing the same pair on a four day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon in 10 days. The fit perfectly, a snug, no-slip, almost tennis shoe like fit, very comfortable. I've been shopping for a replacement, and have tried, and returned, the Vasque Breeze 2.0, Zamberlan 230 SH Crosser, and others, Salomon's offering have come closest to the fit of these boots, which are obviously also extremely durable, but I haven't purchased a replacement yet. I'm extremely disappointed that The North Face is discontinuing this boot, and has not apparent comparable replacement, but extremely happy to be able to buy another, new pair here at a closeout price.
