    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

    • Lightweight paulownia wood cores with stringers of bamboo and beech wood provide outstanding vibration damping and torsional strength
    • Rockered tips allow smooth, predictable turns in all types of snow; carbon reinforcements increase the torsional rigidity and dampness of the skis
    • Full sidewall construction uses impact-resistant ABS plastic along the entire length of the ski edge, from steel edge to the top coating, for excellent force absorption
    • Dual radius sidecut, featuring a long turning radius toward the front and a short radius toward the rear, allows steady handling going into and coming out of turns
    • Patented SpeedSkinFix attachment system securely attaches Dynafit skins (sold separately) to skis
    • SpeedSkinFix system does not interfere with the attachment of other brands of skins that feature a tip loop and tail clip
    • Dynafit Grand Teton skis have a sintered graphite coating on the bases that enhances glide and improves wax retention
    • Base or topsheet color may vary from online photo

Dynafit Grand Teton Telemark / Randonee Skis - 2013/2014 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You are going to like the Grand Teton Dynafit Grand Teton ski: It is the widest ski I have ever used for ski-touring. Actually no, I tried once before another brand ski of 105 mm and I did not like that ski. Here I am trying to fall in love with another wide ski. With the new 106 mm width underfoot I was at first a little reluctant, mostly worried that I might push too much ski while cutting trail in deep powder. Already after the first tight up-track turns in steep forest (Grizzly Shoulder at Rogers Pass) I realized that all worry was for nothing. This ski is much different from what I have seen before and it allowed me to be efficient and with little effort cutting deep trail. Even in tight and steep kick-turns this wide ski with an amazing "Scoop Rocker 2" design (long rocker tip) was incredibly easy to push through all this deep snow as I maneuvered up very complex terrain. Skiing down, that is where this ski really shows its many fun characteristics. It wants to go skiing and that is what the ski is really built for. The Grand Teton has lots of positive life and is super easy to handle in all types terrain and snow conditions (steep, tight, deep powder or super hard-packed). The Grand Teton likes to go fast and can calmly hold a precise aggressive line, and then on the other hand it also has a very high performance level in skiing slow turns with smooth and easy handling. What I also like on the Grand Teton, it still has a wood core construction (a super light revolutionized bamboo ?? beech core) and a carbon casing to optimize torsional stability and elastic recovery. This ski is really designed for a large range of different skiers, super aggressive strong skiers or for the more conservative slower skier. Strong skiers usually know what length they want, for the more conservative skier maybe you want to buy this ski a little bit on the shorter side. I can't wait to experience my next northern Selkirk ski-tour and deep powder fun with the Grand Teton ski. I am convinced and inspired. Ruedi Beglinger
