CamelBak Zoid Hydration Snow Pack - 70 fl. oz. is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for cold weather sports Great hydration system for winter sports. I bought mine for skiing. It's compact design works really well: it doesn't feel bulky and I hardly notice it on my back while skiing. It also doesn't really interfere with sitting on the lift. Small enough to be light, but large enough to have enough water for the whole day. The extra pocket is a little bit small; not much utility, but it's a trade-off for having a small, compact pack. The insulation does a good job of keeping the water from freezing in the tube, though I haven't used it yet on days colder than about 15-20 deg. Frequent sips help keep it from freezing too. The only negative I have is that the zipper on the right strap for housing the mouth piece broke the fourth time I used it. At first I thought it was just frozen, but after bringing it inside, it still would not open. Also, the zipper only has a nylon string to hold, there is no plastic/metal piece like on a typical zipper. When the zipper got stuck, the nylon finger hold ripped right off. I brought the pack back to REI and they replaced it with a new one. Hopefully the zipper works better on this one. I'll probably attach a key ring to the zipper for a more sturdy hold.
