The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Obermeyer Aria Insulated Jacket - Women's:
I went into my local REI store expecting to buy a 3-in-1 ski jacket and walked away with this one in the color rose gold instead!
It was by far the most flattering ski jacket I've ever tried on. It's completely unique and the rose gold color is beautiful. When you look at all the different ski jackets out there this one manages to stand out as something special. It has all the features you want (powder skirt, loads of pockets including two "handwarmer" pockets and two inside pockets, fleece collar/neck, detachable hood, armpit zippers etc.) but doesn't scream snow suit ;) It's warm and not as heavy/bulky as the 3-in-1s I was trying on. I expect I'll be wearing this jacket around Boston just as often (or perhaps even more often) than I will be wearing it on the slopes.
It felt true to size once I realized that Obermeyer considers size 10 and 12 to be "medium". The only downside (and this is super minor) is that the inside fleece cuffs don't have a thumbhole so may slide up when wearing gloves.
I haven't tested it out on the ski slopes yet but it felt warm in the colder weather we've been having and it seems well made (although it is made in China).
