- Polartec 300 Series® fleece (87% recycled content in the solid colors and 65% in the heathered) is warm, lightweight and compressible
- Abrasion-resistant, laundered 2-ply nylon (also recycled) on upper body and elbows provides reinforcement and durability
- Durable Water Repellent finish fends off light rain showers and snow
- Drawcord hem and elastic-bound cuffs help seal in warmth
- Features zippered hand pockets and a Napoleon chest pocket
- Standard fit provides easy layering
- Wear the Denali jacket on its own or zipped into complementing parkas from The North Face

I bought my first denali fleece in 2005. I now finally had to get a replacement. First thing I noticed was this fleece is a bit stiffer and not as thick as my old one.
The next day while walking home from work, I was overheating a bit and realized there are no pit zips (wish I would have checked before ordering). My old denali fleece did have pit zips which was beneficial for not overheating on longer or more strenuous hikes and backpacking. I will keep this fleece as a casual wear and for my light hikes with my two toddlers. But I will need to purchase another fleece for longer hikes.

Taken as lightweight warm jacket for Death Valley in January. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Wind on mountain tops just flowed right through. I think it is made of recycled plastic. It felt like I was wearing a mesh potato bag in that icy wind. I wished I had the plastic bag it was made of. Fine for non windy locale, however, and nice for around town. I loved the color, it is soft and doesn't collect cat hair.
