The North Face Paramount Peak convertible pants feature rugged construction, plentiful pocket storage and a modern look.
- Adapt your comfort to changing weather with the zip-off pant legs to create shorts with a 10 in. inseam; extended ankle zippers let you slip the legs off easily over boots
- Color-coded convertible zippers help you quickly transition from shorts to pants
- Midweight, abrasion-resistant nylon fabric features a Durable Water Repellent finish that causes water to bead up and roll off; fabric dries quickly
- With a UPF 30 rating, fabric provides very good protection against harmful ultraviolet rays
- Cargo pockets are rotated around to the side and are sized to secure trail and travel essentials; large-capacity rear pockets hold a wallet, passport and travel documents
- Front slash pockets provide additional storage; zippered pocket near the right hand pocket stashes spare change and small valuables
- Partial elastic waistband includes belt loops and a zippered fly; included webbing belt lets you fine-tune the fit
- Gusseted crotch allows unrestricted range of motion

I bought two pairs of these pants. I like that they come with their own belt attached. The material is thick weight so when I'm going through blackberrys I don't have to worry about being scratched. The shorts are easily detachable and handy. They don't breath as well as I would like but that's probably because they keep you pretty warm which I really like because I go out in 35 degree weather often. I think they are stylish and go well with going around most shoes. I don't like my pants to stay on top of my shoes which makes me feel like the 80's when people had tight pant cuffs.
